Which is unfortunate, because the setting and the grounds were spectacular, the B&B was immaculate, and the breakfasts both delicious and filling. What a great find! I found this B&B in the Washington state tourist guide. Shaun runs a top notch operation with every detail considered from homemade cookies and snacks in the fridge to robes for both the rooms and separate ones for the hot tub. The Trumpeter Inn was one of the best B&B's we have stayed in over many years. The atmosphere was Shaun made you feel welcome and gave guests the run of the house including the kitchen. The breakfasts were creative and excellent. Everything was spotless and clean with great attention to detail. Don't forget to play with Joey, their border collie.
