Cheap, yup. That's the only reason to stay here. It's not gross; clean enough, a little dingy, with a parking lot view. On the upside, it's right next door to a ginormous grocery store if you need provisions. The Food Bank is also right across the street, which is handy for dropping off donations if you have over-provisioned at the... More

I chose the Orca Inn for a 4-night stay because of the price, obviously. And I chose it over the hostel because a private bathroom is very high on my list of necessities in lodging. This place was, in many ways, better than I expected, and the price really can't be beat. Upon arrival on the island, I made the... More

The price of this hotel is fantastically low for the area. If you are looking for a lower priced clean hotel on this island this is perfect. it is quite outdated but clean so it served its purpose. There is a small fridge and microwave which is great. It is a few blocks from the ferry which is fine but... More

We stayed in room 1. It was very clean but small, reminded us of campiing in our popup tent camper. It did have a shower and restroom, microwave and fridge. The air conditioner worked great. The area was very quiet at night, but in the early evening we did have some aircraft noise from the airport nearby. Our internet didn't... More

I'm rating it 4 stars based on its price-- you get what you pay for. It's not the Ritz. But it's clean and affordable. Walking distance from the ferry. I'd stay here again. More

There were several reviews that nearly turned me off of this place. If I had chosen a different option for my stay on San Juan Island, I would've paid significantly more. Despite the 70's decor, the place was fine--if you only need a bed to sleep on and a shower and will spend your time galavanting all about the island... More

This was my second visit and again I found The Orca Inn to be a reasonably priced motel that was clean and quiet. The rooms are very small, but adequate. The owners are on site and willing to offer good eating places away from the usual tourist traps. You can easily spend up to $150.00 more per night at a... More

This is an excellent "value" accommodation. It was the only thing available that weekend at the last minute, and we were pleasantly surprised, after reading some reviews about it being "scary". Everything worked, it was clean, and reasonably comfortable. Ambiance? Well...no. It had a TV and air conditioning (though it was barely hot enough to need the a/c). It was... More

Great Value! Very Clean, Cozy and Quiet. Our funky yet charming room had 2 bathrooms and 2 queen beds. Great for 3 women (myself and two teenagers). Cable, fridge, microwave, free internet, coffee shop and major grocery store a block away. Close to Friday Harbor. We walked everywhere. Save your money by leaving your car at Anacortez and walk on... More

It was PRICED RIGHT, CLEAN & QUIET, and with the fridge, microwave and dual bathrooms in the 2-queen room, plenty spacious for all of us, and inexpensive to make meals, especially with a GROCERY STORE 50 feet away! Not what you'd want if you have to have amenities like a spa or pool, but we came to see the islands,... More
