This certainly wasn't a luxury accommodation, but then again, it's about the cheapest decent hotel you can get in downtown San Antonio. Couple that with free parking and a free continental breakfast (even though it's tiny and crammed), and it's a pretty good deal. It's literally blocks from the Alamo and the Riverwalk. You can't beat the location.

This hotel is in desperate need of a makeover. The bed was the only decent point of hotel. Location is convenient to River walk. Needed a room fro one night. TV channel changer never worked despite the desk help. Bathroom needs updated. Morning continental breakfast only adequate. Price was low because of these. Drink machine was not working. Fixtures were... More

This Days Inn is about 2 blocks from the Alamo and the Riverwalk, so the location is great. The hotel is older. Our room seemed to have been recently painted, but the furniture and the bathroom fixtures were old and need replacing. The room was clean, and the housekeeping staff were very friendly. The breakfast which is included with the... More

Our room looked like it was not renovated since the 1980's: beat-up furniture, walls; moldy shower curtain and tile; peeling paint and plaster. I'm hoping it was only that room that looked so bad. The only good things were the bed and carpet.

This hotel has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They really do not put the customer first but only their pockets. The manager Anna is rarely available and will not even try to help you out. Don't waste your money or your time here, I never will again.

The free parking was for the occupants only. When some friends came by to spend a couple of hours with us, their car was towed! Granted, they had told us that anyone other than the occupants would have to pay $10, but we assumed they would just add it to our bill. They were not at all clear on the... More

This hotel is bargain basement, no frills, but it was clean and well kept despite its age. But most importantly, it was walking distance to the Valero Dome. We went there to see the Alamo Bowl, and it was an easy to walk to the riverwalk, the game, and back again. The parking was free with the room and they... More

We stayed here for one night and I can honestly say it was the worst experience I have had anywhere in the world! My husband, two small children and myself were staying here with another family and were so sorely disappointed with the experience. It was nothing short of unsanitary, filthy and smelly! We had to ask for a change... More

I usually don't write reviews for chain hotels / motels, but this calls for one. There is not a lot to say about the hotel itself - it's a standard Days Inn room, with a standard breakfast so if you've ever been to a Days Inn you know what you'll get. What makes this place mentionable is the walking distance... More
