On the plus side, the lady who checked us in was friendly and pleasant. The price was cheap. After that though ewww!!! The face cloth had black and red stains on in. The carpet was ripped and shredded by the bathroom. The paint and furniture chipped. Bed was sagging, although I would say the linen was clean. I thought the... More

I stayed at this hotel recently after traveling cross country and had my doubts since I was a late arrival and had to use the walk up window. I could see behind the counter from where I stood and the carpet there looked as though it had not been cleaned in decades. To my delight and surprise, the carpet in... More

My friend and I booked this hotel through because it was cheap and close by. We had stayed a HoJo motel before (in a different city) and had no problems, so we didn't think twice. When we arrived, the person at the front desk was extremely rude and tried to charge us extra for having two people in the room.... More

This is a reasonable place to get a night's rest. I was there last week and the desk personnel were very nice when I arrived. Somone called the paramedics because they were a diabetic so there was some commotion going on outside, otherwise this place was quiet and I got a good night sleep. The rate was great, the location... More

I don't understand the tirade of negative reviews here about this hotel. I had a good stay here. OK, so it's not top luxury, but it's clean and convenient for the nearby 10 Freeway, and not far from downtown Tucson. I didn't have any bad experiences with shady characters being alluded to here. The breakfast is quite simple, but nothing... More

My husband and I were tired after a long drive and we saw Howard Johnson and assumed it was going to be a descent room (since it is a 2 star)!! Anyway as soon as arriving there were numerous of people outside drinking, the people next door were... More

We arrived at 11 PM with a prepaid vocher. The guy at the reception did not know what is that!!! He tried to phone somwhere what to do, but nobody answered the phone. So we had to pay the room again. Then we get a "room" which was worse than a prison. (We had a cockroach also in the bathtub)... More

We wanted a place to sleep for a few hours while driving cross country. We drove to the back of the hotel, where are room was located. There were several people hanging out smoking and while unloading the kids I watched cars pull up and the man in the room next door would run something out to their cars. The... More

Howard Johnson (HoJo) should demolish this establishment. From the moment I walked in the door to be greeted by the lady at the front desk who was busy looking at the guy who was surfing the internet behind the counter, I should have ran. I was given a smoking room which was suppose to be ready. The card didn't work... More

The room was clean, that is the only nice thing I can say. The paint had chipped off about half the bathtub. The breakfast is just cereal, bread and a toaster, no butter or jam, not maintained well at all. The owner tried to extort another $10 out of me to give me my Wyndham points. I don't think they...
