Recently spent 4 wonderful days at the Azure Gate and it was a delight. It certainly deserves its ranking as the #1 B&B in the Tucson area. Gracious hosts, wonderful gourmet breakfasts and a beautiful setting. Dennis and Christine are marvelous hosts.

We first visited the Azure Gate last year after reading the reviews here in TripAdvisor. Our experience there compelled us to return again this year. We would like to add to the overwhelmingly wonderful experiences that we first read about here. First, the location is wonderful - away from the noise and development of this fast-expanding city. And there is... More

Simply the best!! We stayed four days at Azure Gate and wished we could have stayed four months. We were in the Santa Ana guest house which was immaculate and well stocked to meet our every need. Hosts Christine and Dennis couldn't have been more gracious and helpful, they made our stay a delight - and then there are the... More

I don't know if I can say anything about this B&B that hasn't been said before, but I'm going to try.....amazing, fantastic, perfect! I stayed in the Sabino room just a couple weeks ago. When I got there, Christine showed me around and pointed out all the amenities. They have a library, guide books that they have made up for... More

My husband and I were looking for a B and B in the Tucson area so we could photograph local birds and blooming desert flowers. The Azure Gate was exactly what we were looking for ---- a small, cozy inn with great warmth and serenity. Innkeepers Christine and Dennis make you feel very much at home and you leave feeling... This was our second attempt to secure a reservation. We were not disappointed. Dennis and Christine were wonderful hosts. Breakfasts were varied, delicious and generous. Lunch is not required after these types of breakfast. Our food allergies were willingly and easily accomodated. Our room was comfortable and charming. The grounds are quiet and condusive to relaxation and just "hanging out".... More

We went to do some birding and were not disappointed. I got some very nice bird photos right in the Azure Gate back yard. Dennis is a birder too and helped us find the best places and helped identify the birds I photographed. What I did not expect was Dennis, the gourmet chef. Oh my, what lovely breakfasts he and... Azure Gate was recommended to me by friends a few years ago. I cannot help myself, I just keep coming back. It is because each stay is as good as the first one. Dennis and Christine are so well-coming and greet all the guests with open arms and make you feel at home. If you need help with anything, they... More
