I stayed at the Roadrunner off and on while I was trying to move to Tucson. It was great. Everyone was welcoming, the hallway is filled with flyers about places to go and things to see in Tucson, they have a plethora of books, magazines, and pamphlets on travel ranging from Arizona to the world, and A FREE WAFFLE BREAKFAST!... I stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed the clean, laidback environment. Free breakfast was nice too. The bunks are wooden and sturdy - no rickety metal ones. Staff were courteous and helpful. Would recommend.

I have recently stayed at this most excellent hostel, and I got to say, it was most likely the best hostel I have been to yet. The people there were very cultured and shared some very interesting stories of there travels. The Staff were all more than happy to help out with anything, and were also a pleasure to talk... More

This hostel is awesome- all the staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming and did whatever they could to help us out and give us advice on where to go etc. The hostel itself is on the smaller side, but this meant that it felt way more social than anywhere else we've stayed and as a result we got to... We exchanged a few e-mails and they told us that they can offer us 2 rooms for 6 people (for 12 of us). Two times they asked us if we wanted to make a reservation and we replied "yes". Then after 7 hour drive to Tucson, we arrived to Roadrunner at midnight and found out that they don't even offer... More

Wonderful stay! The hostel is small but very cozy and clean and as nice as most hotels I've stayed at. It located downtown and is within walking distance to most downtown attractions. Its a bus ride away from the popular shopping areas but if you have a car, this shouldn't be a problem. The dorm rooms were very comfortable and... More

Got a dog friendly room but did not get the hostel experience as our room was across the street and down a ways. Literally a 2 minute walk from the hostel. Weird but yeah. We had dogs or else we would have stayed in the dorm rooms. Nice area. Close to 4th and downtown areas. Would recommend. Friendly staff.

My week at the Roadrunner Hostel was five stars all the way. The staff is jovial, the atmosphere relaxing, and the hostel is immaculately decorated. It is a work of art, with comfortable outdoor sitting areas, cozy couches, and a large, hospitable kitchen. Homemade waffles are on the house every breakfast. The bathroom and showers were always clean. Definitely a... More

I stayed two nights at the Roadrunners, in a dorm room and I have to say that it may be the best hostel I visited during my trip (2 weeks on the road between Vancouver Canada and New-Orleans) : it is a quite small hostel, and that is actually what gives it this really warm atmosphere. The staff is really... More
