There are some hotels you drive up to, and first impressions aren't that great. People say not to judge books by their covers, so I tried to apply that philosophy here. And I really did try. Unfortunately, there's not a lot to like about this place. THE POSITIVES: The rooms are nice and big. We had a twin with two... More

We stayed here for two nights on an archers/cosmos tour and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The manager, Wes, made a personal effort to make sure our stay was enjoyable, greeting us on the bus when we arrived and coming out to say goodbye when we left even though it was early in the morning. Breakfast was complimentary and more than... More

The best part was the breakfast - full hot breakfast. The room was comfortable. The equipment in the fitness center worked. But the management isn't paying attention to the details. The hallways are filthy - never swept in the five days we were there. Broken windows and screens all around the property. The light in the exercise room didn't work.... More

This hotel has messed up so much for my sister's wedding. We haven't even stayed there and we are already upset with them. We have a blocked of rooms and everyone has been quoted a different rate every time someone has called up. We also have rented the outdoor patio area for her rehearsal dinner and two days before they... More

This is an older hotel. We booked on Hotels.com and got the room for around $60 a night. I thought it was a great value. Its right off the freeway. The entire inside property of the hotel is gated. When you get inside there is mature trees and green grass lots of outside patio seating. The pool is good size... More

Don't let the AAA diamond award sitting at their check-in desk fool you. I can only guess they received this due to their customer service, which was great. Initially the property looked good but until you get into a room, you're being fooled. This is an older hotel that has a nice coat of paint. The rooms are worn and... More

Extremely courteous staff, very quiet and spacious room, beautiful grounds, good location (about a 30 minute walk to the University of Arizona from the hotel down Tuscon's delightful downtown. Yes, the hotel is a little run-down, but, as mentioned above, the room was very quiet, huge, and had everything I needed. Nice breakfast provided (eggs, sausage and bacon, tortillas, beans,... More

Hotel is old and in need of updates - rooms are in need of paint and new carpet. Bathroom tiles and tub were stained. There is a free breakfast which is very nice - lobby and restaurant area are very nice.

The room was nice - we had none of the problems mentioned in other reviews. The rooms were good-sized and ours was surprisingly quiet for being so close to the freeway. But it was the breakfast that made it. Real eggs and a breakfast meat, different on the two days we were there. And salsa and tortillas - we made... More

Dirty, dated very bad location. The first room they assignded us had personal effects left over from the previous guests and dirt on one of the bedspreads. The second room was dirty and next to the freeway and railroad tracks. We will never stay there again and do not recommend.
