I go to Tucson every year for the Gem & Mineral Show in Feb. Things get sold out and are very expensive at that time of year. The year before I got a great deal through one of those on line and won't give the name places, hoping to get a better deal again I used them for this year.... More

On the plus side, the front staff were very nice and helpful in giving restaurant recommendations and driving directions. In addition, this is located downtown yet you would still need to drive, take the bus, or cab it to Congress St. or 4th Ave where the majority of dining and entertainment establishments are located, unless you're prepared for a hefty... The motel on a whole is very average, but then we paid just $41/night to stay there. Skip the meager continental breakfast. The bed was average (not stable to the floor), the air conditioning worked fine, though it was loud. About what you would expect from a budget motel. Centrally located near the University.

My daughter and I stayed here on the last night of our vacation in Tucson. It was very clean, quiet and the price was right, 86.30 for the two of us including taxes. It is conveniently located near the University. Morning coffee was a little on the weak side, but everything else about the place was great.

It was a disappointing surprise. Front Desk: attended by 2 young men, who were speaking a dialect while I was waiting. No eye contact during any of our interactions. ROOM: cold, with the very bare necessities. Heater was inefficient but noisy, gloomy. Outside was 30' F. Asked for extra blankets. those in the room were very thin and smelly. "... More

04/01/2008 - This hotel was not fit to occupy. We tried to leave when we saw the condition of the room but were told we reserved the room, we pay for the room. (There is an expectation that the room is acceptable.) We canceled the second night upon arrival and were informed that they would do us a favor and... More
