We spent 3 days at this lovely Inn. The accommodations were fabulous, bed comfortable, everything spotlessly clean, sunset views spectacular and the owners and employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Homemade muffins each morning in the commons area, lobster supper was superb, we will definitely return. This is a real gem in today's fast paced world and not to be... More

The Inn’s warm and relaxing atmosphere was the best. While relaxing and reading in those comfy red chairs in our room, the sun started to set. For the next ½ hour we were mesmerized by the best sunset ever. Our dinner was delivered to our room for a romantic evening. Then off to sleep with the sounds of the ocean... More

The fact that this Inn was a former sardine factory was intriguing enough to get us to book for three nights, but we were also a bit concerned about what we were getting ourselves into. When Judy walked us into our room we felt right at home. We literally were over the water with the best view we have ever... More

This is a very unique "stay" and an opportune discovery for the bed & breakfast enthusiast. These century old cannerys dot the coasline of American/Canadian northeast Atlantic coast. Many an entrepreneur has taken one up and sink with the tide. Not so here. Victor & Judy have turned a old crow into a spring chic. But don't expect vintage, It... More

We stayed here 2 nights in in ocean view room in Oct. The room is basic but the view is spectacular in the morning. Bed is comfortable. The inn has a restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner. Breakfast is the best meal there. Excellent coffee and eggs and pancakes are to die for. One of the highlights is a tour... More

The owners, Victor and Judy, have converted a derelict sardine canning factory into a delightfully charming Inn, which is literally "on the Wharf". Our room was large, light and airy, and had a pleasant Scandinavian 'piney' feel to it - very comfortable, clever decoration, and well appointed with warm lighting, armchairs, a chest of drawers, a comfy bed, and lots... How can a former sardine factory be so charming? Every room has a picture window of the bay and most rooms have a balcony overlooking the bay with its ever changing scenes. After checking in we were exploring the building and wharf when Victor, the owner, asked if we would like a tour of the lobster tanks. His tour was... More

As other reviews have said, this Inn was wonderful. It is more like a "private" B&B. Victor, the owner was always around working or relaxing himself as we did see him eating in the restaurant as well. He gives tours of the working fish market below the Inn if you wish. It was a sardine cannery once. It is right... More

We have taken two trips to The Inn at the Wharf in Lubec this year! For our first experience, we shared it with my husband's parents. We drove from Connecticut and it was worth the drive! The venue is quiet, scenic, and delightful! We went the end of July and stayed in one of their "apartments" with full kitchen. The... More

We heard from a local that the restaurant at this location was good so we drove by. We asked about a room which they had and we were set. It looks brand new though we were told it is 4 years old. Tile floors, neutral colors, comfy linens and bed - everything is arranged to draw your eye to the... More
