We stayed here at the end of our week in Maine. Dave was a very welcoming host and makes a terrific breakfast! He made us feel at home instantly. Room was very comfortable, clean and charming. Dining room made you want to linger over coffee.

We stayed one night over Labor Day and really enjoyed our visit. The hosts were very warm and helpful, the room was really sweet, and the breakfast was delicious. We stayed in the Library room and it was great. The bathroom was super tiny but not a big deal. Breakfast was delightful and the entire place was very clean and...

Those remembering Home Port Inn dinners may be disappointed to learn its dining room now operates for breakfast only, but it is an appealing Bed and Breakfast Inn. Dave and Suzanna are friendly and helpful. My wife and I stayed there two nights in August as part of our 10-day touring trip in Maine. The weather changed unexpectedly our first...

Dave and Susannah Gale really go out of their way to make guests feel at home and to accommodate any special requests. While they no longer serve dinners, their full breakfasts are delicious.
The rooms are charming and comfortable. Though the bathrooms are not large, they are functional with plenty of hot water. If the weather should turn cold (possible...

Rarely stay in small towns or inns but we needed a midpoint place to stay on way to NS, Canada. The Home Port Inn was just wonderful. Charming innkeepers, cozy rooms and decorated lovely. The breakfast was delicous, set out artfully and plenty to eat. Campobello and light houses are very close to the inn.
Our two night stay at The Homeport Inn with Dave and Suzanne, the inn keepers, could not have been more pleasant. They made us feel welcome and especially went out of their way to make our 8.5 yr old daughter feel welcome. They truly love what they do!
The breakfast is simple but quite good. The homemade cereal is wonderful...

We stayed one night and thought it was great. It was quirky, with some lovely old fashioned touches to the rooms, especially in the bathroom. The host was very friendly and helpful and the inn was very clean and the room was nicely decorated. But the breakfast was the best bit. It was a continental breakfast, but there was loads...
