I selected this hotel because of the location near the mall. The building itself is nice but the inside is a bit run down. The bed and pillows were a bit old a need to be changed (room 514). Our son graduated over Memorial Day weekend and our first choice was the Renaissance because of its location. You can walk to the mall and Waterfire, yet when driving its location makes it easy to circle around the downtown traffic. It was fully booked and because of that we had a little longer than usual wait for our car.

After reading other reviews, I seem to have had different experience. In almost a week there, barely saw any staff - had to seek them out.
