We loved our stay here. The room was extremely clean and had a little kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave and dishes. The kitchen did not have a stove but we really did not need one for our visit. Can't remember for sure but think the room was #26 on the end. The hotel is all non-smoking and meticiously kept. Our... I stayed at the Appenzell Inn for two nights with my wife and our toddler and infant, and I would not hesitate to book this charming home away from home again. Service I was most impressed by the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful. To take just one example, I made the horrible mistake of forgetting my son's parka.... More

First nights stay was ok, Dan, was the person that checked us in & told us if we stay (paying regular price) the third night would be free. Great, upon entering ;broken closet, leaky toilet, leaky kitchen sink, loose and dangerous wall lamp in bedroom, sloppy loose spigot on hotub. The main issue was ; on day two, we asked for... More

Wow! We try our best to make guest stays enjoyable, but obviously fell short in this guest's opinion. I'll try to address each item specifically to see if prospective guests might gain some insight: 1. We were offerring a third night free for those paying two nights at the "Regular Rate". Because the weather looked iffy, they chose to pay... More

Clean, helpful and went out of their way to welcome us. After being forced to leave our prior hotel, we ended up here at Appenzell Inn. The staff was amazing! So friendly and helpful. Stayed in two different rooms- a large suite next to the office (Room 1?) and a room on the backside of the hotel (18). Both were... More

I would like to start off by saying this place is run by some very nice people. Stayed here for 3 nights during a busy in town convention. The rooms were very clean and modern. I was very impressed with the high level of customer service provided. Their restaurant "Strudels" had some excellent food with a very European atmosphere. Owner... More

My family has stayed at the Appunzell Inn in Estes Park, colorado twice in the past year. The 1 room suite is very quaint and comfortable, on the whole very similar to a Swiss Chalet. But what i really love is the little cafe "Strudel". We have yet to have a bad meal there-and the breakfast is expecially great before... More

We have stayed at the Appenzell Inn several times and always enjoy the wonderful atmosphere, cozy and cute rooms, and friendly management and staff who make you feel at home. Lovely setting and the pride of the owners shows. Convenient to RMNP and downtown Estes Park. Walk to golf course in the Fall to see the elk! (Crack your window... More

Perfect place to stay in Estes Park! Room was great with a beautiful view and relaxing jacuzzi tub. The Inn is in an ideal location as it is close to the main town, but set back just enough to feel secluded. Management was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The restaurant was delicious! This is a wonderful place to call home... More

We spent 2 nights at the Appenzell Inn recently and were very surprised/ The friendliness of the owner, the room was very European and comfortable. They have a small restaurant, swiss style and he food was superb. I can highly recommend this little INN.

We loved the Appenzell. From morning coffee on the verandah with beautiful views of the Rockies, to our own private jacuzzi, everything about this inn was perfect. It is located minutes from downtown, a few miles outside the National Park, and just at the base of the Stanley Hotel. And the staff could not have been friendlier.
