This was my favorite B&B we stayed in as we toured NM. Charming decor. We had the Jasmine room. The sky light was awesome, and the pot belly stove quaint. The hosts were delightful to chat with and made a wonderful breakfast! Minutes away from Old Town. I'd definitely go back and encourage friends to stay there as well.
My wife and I spent 4 quiet romantic nights at Sarabande. Allan was quite the host and his breakfasts were wonderful! We stayed in the Rose room but all the rooms we viewed were very nice.
I had the opportunity to meet all four owners, and each one of them were kind, gracious, and truly invested in providing the ultimate bed and breakfast experience in Albuquerque. What I enjoyed most: homemade french toast casserole, in-room fireplace, extremely comfortable beds, the Japanese soaking tub, and the proximity to restaurants, downtown, shopping, and more! The hospitality provided went...

The new owners are very nice and accommodating hosts. They helped me put together a special evening with my wife while I was still out of the country. When we arrived they had set out special chocolates, lavender soaps and bath salts from a lavender farm just down the road and they even picked up rose pedals for me. We...

Under new ownership in 2011. Very welcoming and accommodating hosts. Convenient location for Balloon Fiesta, Old Town and more; however, will need a car to get around. Serve a good quality full breakfast which included multiple options as well as assorted snacks. Host woke early to ensure a to go breakfast option and coffee was available for guests heading out...

Sarabande is in a semi-rural town that seems to be surrounded by the city of Albuquerque. The B and B is charming, quiet and immaculate. It is for sale, so my experience applies only to the current owner. Walking trails and a winery are nearby.
Sarabande is a delightful bed and breakfast in a nice residential part of the (Rio Grande) Valley, the part of Albuquerque with a long history of Native American and Spanish settlement. The Valley is my favorite part of the city because the water table is near the surface, which makes it a natural oasis with lots of shady trees. Sarabande...

The good: Extreamly nice Hostess. Great area to stay w/ plenty to do. Awsome breakfast. Decor was true to the area. Beds...to die for, slept like a baby. Very quiet. Nice court yard to sit and relax.
The not so good (I would NOT say 'the bad'): The facility, while fairly clean, did need some TLC and repairs. The deck...

My husband and I have stayed at Sarabande 3 times in the past 18 months. We have always found the property to be very accommodating, and our hostess Janie is the most gracious B&B owner we have ever met. We travel frequently and have stayed at many B&B's in Texas and California.
Janie's breakfasts are healthy and delicious. The rooms...
