My family & I rather come here than Inn of the Mountain Gods in Ruidoso NM. Everyone at Sandia is super nice, willing to do whatever you need. The rooms are nice. Every time come I use the spa. They are even nice in there. This memorial weekend (2012) I got a wax & a massage. Both services were wonderful.

I'm a local and never stayed overnight. Tried Green Reed Spa a year or so ago. Nothing worked the steam room, sauna, whirlpool was out. No offer from them to return when it did. No wonder, I see by the reviews it's still not working. Too bad, I'm looking for a place I can come to conveniently on a day pass.... More

When I called to see about the dinner buffet the lady who answered, I didn't bother remembering her name, was extremely rude like she didn't want to be bothered. She asked, "Well haven't you ever been to our buffet before?!" And I said no then she proceeded to tell me the wrong buffet and price. I unfortunately don't believe I... More

The rooms are so comfortable, beds and bedding are top notch! The restaurants in the hotel are very good. This is one of my favorite destination hotels, and I don't even gamble!

Let me start by saying out of all 9 reviews I have posted on Trip Advisor this is the only negative one which speaks for itself... We booked a Mother's Day weekend trip a month ahead of time on Sandia's website. It was three adults (myself and my 70 year old parents). We of course requested two queen beds on... More

We recently stayed at Sandia on business. Wow! This is a really nicely run resort. The golf course was impeccable, the pool divine, the spa so popular I couldn't get an appointment, and the rooms were very nicely appointed. The dining was top notch - as good as any highly rated steakhouse! The resort is super convenient to the ABQ... More

After an extremely unpleasant experience at an historic hotel in Santa Fe, we were ready to go home to southern NM a day early -- in disgust and disappointment at wasted time and money -- even though we had scheduled a long weekend away to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Instead, we decided to stop here at Sandia . I already... More

After reading the reviews ,we were very concerned about our stay at the Sandia Resort and Casino. We just returned from our trip and had a great time. We were there with the Harrah's Offer, our room was outstanding, large with great views of the mountain, the pool was wonderful and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Resort is only... We just returned from a stay at Sandia offered to us because we are harrah's reward members. The facility is pretty and our room was nice, but the smoke in the casino was horrific. I play poker which is in a non-smoking area and they do have a non-smoking area for slots but you have to hike all the way... More

A group of 8 guys just returned from Sandia for a golf outing, 3 days. Food was miserable, contracted some type of stomach bug from the evening buffet. Golf was 5.5 hour rounds on Sat and Sun, 4:50 on Friday. Greens were half poa annua, which grows faster than bent grass and leaves very bumpy greens. Room was good, service... More
