The Grand America is beautiful, well-located and expertly staffed. Upon our arrival, we were offered an up-grade to a suite with a lovely view of the mountains. Well it is big and they tried to make it "Grand" but it just doesn't seem to work. Kind of a Ritz Carlton lite not quite as much attitude.
The rooms are indeed quite large.

They don't build them like this very often. The physical structure is impressive. The use of wood and stone classic. The soft goods might be refreshed, but really nice hotel. I greatly appreciated the free wi-fi. The service was friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for a week long conference. Conference facilities good, although there were long lines for the food, mostly because of the set-up people did not realize there were multiple food lines available.
Rooms were huge. Bathroom was as big as the bedroom. Quiet with great views. Desk provided great information on local running spots - highly recommend the run...
