There are so many great reviews of this place, I just don't understand the discrepancy between all those great reviews and what an absolute filthy dive this was. There was some minor maintenance and maybe a few upgrades in decor needed, but there was something about the ambience of this place that I really loved. The rooms were extra spacious, and some of the furnishings very nice, with a configuration that suggested that maybe it was an apartment once. We stayed at the Flagstone on June 11 and had a great time. The rooms were very affordable and reasonably clean. The view from the room was spectacular! The pool and sauna is in a separate building from the hotel, but the pool is heated and worth the short walk in the cold. more
