This is a fly fishing lodge only. If you cannot fly fish, sight fishing, don't go. The guides are great, the fishing is great, as sight fly fishing results in 3 fish each a day. We have been to NZ four times in the last three years, but unfortunately did not stay at Lake Rotoroa Lodge until our third trip. We liked it so much we returned only nine months later.
