We have just come back from our trip having spent 3 nights at this wonderful B&B. Lovely location/room/bathroom/view/balcony etc etc, with every detail provided for. Breakfast excellent. But best of all were Keith and Margaret who were the very best of hosts, and the nicest of people, making us feel entirely welcome in their home. Pre-dinner drinks each evening was... More

Keith and Margaret were perfect hosts, The breakfast was fantastic as were the wine and canapes offered before we went out in the evening. The views from our room were fantastic. A nice relaxing stay for a couple of days.

Killyrudden on the Coromandel Peninsula - what a perfect place to relax and reflect on all the interesting places you've seen in NZ. From our fabulously comfortable room, with french doors opening on to a balcony with table, chairs AND hot tub, we had breathtaking views of Tairua harbour with lush vegetation and mountains as a backdrop. The hospitality from... More

We are on a 2 1/2 week trip through New Zealand and the accomodations were arranged by our travel agency. Unfortunately there was only a single night at this great place in the itinerary. We arrived after a 400 km trip from the north where we had stayed the night before and the welcome was excellent - exactly what we... More

My wife and I spent two weeks on the north and south islands, and this was was the nicest place we stayed, hands down. Nicest room, fantastic bed, well appointed, GREAT breakfast, super nice host and hostess, and a great jumping off point for the east side of the peninsula. I want to stress how nice the hosts were again.... More

We actually stayed Nov 2009 but completely forgot to write a review. We spent two nights and enjoyed every minute! The rooms were very nice and well presented including the wonderful private bathroom. The gardens were amazing to explore and walk around in. Although not expansive, there was always something to see and discover. We enjoyed a night cap with... More

Great location, lovely hosts ( I especially enjoyed the 18 pm meetings on the balcony with beer and wine :-) ). Highly recommended, we spend new years eve there and had a fantastic view onto the harbour and the firework at night. And if you are lucky (Älike us) you can here the Kiwi (the bird) in the night.....quite rare... More

We stayed 2 nights with Keith and Margaret at the end of May. Their location has a fantastic view of the harbor...as a matter of fact, the picture I took from the balcony outside out room is probably the best one of our entire trip. Besides the room with balcony and the food and the hot tub and the cleanliness... More

My wife and I stayed with Keith and Margaret for two nights of our honeymoon. It was an excellent experience! They were terrific hosts and offered an unbelievable B&B stay. The views were fantastic, rooms were very comfortable, and their hospitality was something we will always remember. The breakfasts were made to order and there was a lot to do... More

Very overpriced B&B. Just another bedroom in a private house. Not a 4 star at all.Jacuzzi very old in a rambling shack. No balcony with deckchair like on the picture.old t.v. with 3 channels. Worst place we stayed during a 10 day visit to New Zealand North Island and by far the most expensive.

We are sorry FranceMartine did not enjoy her stay with us. - What to say? Firstly we are most definitely well into the official 4 star grading and have been now for seven years. Old TV and Jacuzzi ? well if 3 years is old, then they are old. As for 3 channels on TV - pity FranceMartine did not... More
