The Lodge is nicely located with a great view if the Monument. It was great sitting on the porch and looking at the view. Great accommidations but would have liked a microwave and fridge since we were staying several days. Very welcoming and helpful staff.

The location was good, close to town. As stated in another review, bedding and carpet was worn, but the room was clean....especially the bathroom which shined! I thought it was too expensive, but I will admit I'm not accustomed to tourist towns.....I know prices run higher. Overall I would give this hotel an average review

This hotel had reasonable things going for it - average price, good location (only 2 miles from Mt Rushmore entrance), and reasonable room condition. I liked this hotel! My room was clean, nice smell, front desk guys were cool, especially Emanuel! I liked that he really cares about customers and he wants to make us happy, and he did it! Good job Travelodge staff!
