We spent two nights in Mountain Home Cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the forest. The cabin was charming and cozy with all the amenities we needed. The surrounding forest was quiet and beautiful with the moss and ferns. Traffic noise from the highway was minimal and not at all a problem. A perfect spot to re-juvenate after a... More

We stayed at the Cedar Grove Cabin at Deep Forest Cabins for a weekend to take advantage of the winter activities at Mt. Rainier. What a great find! The cabin was cozy and offered a private hot tub and deck. There was a kitchen and grill outside for our use, and the owners let us borrow DVDs to watch at... More

We stayed 4 nights in the Maplewild cabin. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything you could need. Coffee beans were great and we appreciated the creamer, sugar etc. The owners had advised to do grocery shopping prior to arriving in Ashford and they weren't kidding. We brought breakfast supplies and stuff to make sandwiches for lunch and then... More

We were in the Salal cabin. Space and luxury. We remember this cabin as a big treat. Having your own palace in the forest. Waking up in the morning in your king size bed an open your eyes and look into the eyes of a a couple of relaxed deer, a couple of yards away on the other side of... More

I don't know if I can add anything to the long list of great reviews for Deep Forest Cabins--except to say that it's all true! We stayed in the Cedar Grove Cabin, and it was lovely--comfortable, well-equipped, romantic, and perfectly set into the beautiful forest adjacent to Mt. Rainier National Park. A really nice place to stay.

My husband, I and a friend visiting us from the East Coast stayed in the Mountain Home Log Cabin for two nights in July. The immaculate, spacious cabin stands in deep woods, less than 3 minutes by car from the Mount Rainier National Forest. The cabin can easily lodge a small group with its queen bed, full bed and fold-out... More

My wife and I have stayed at B&Bs, cottages and cabins in Scotland, England, France, Canada and the USA and this was the best we have experienced. We were in Mountain Home cabin and it was both charming and immaculate. The hot tub was clean and in perfect condition, the gas grille was in good shape and tongs/spatulas were provided.... More

We stayed in the Mountain Home Log Cabin and it was just what we wanted for a few days at Mt Rainier National Park. Everything was perfect. The cabin was incredibly clean. All the wood surfaces were shining! Fireplace was just the thing to warm the room after a day in the park. We were there in early June and... More

My wife and I had the honor of staying in the Salal cabin at Deep Forest Cabins June 29th and 30th 2011. Janet has thought of everything to make the stay unforgetable. Reading lights strategically placed, to all the amenities of a 5 star resort. Mt. Rainier was great to. A Black Bear crossed the road in front us us.... More

Wonderful job incorporating the cabin into the forest. It was absolutely pristine -- like it had never been stayed in, but obviously, from the glowing reviews in the guest book, it has. Incredibly convenient to the park (Mt. Rainier). Ridiculously beautiful bathroom with spa tub overlooking the woods, plus another spa outside. Indoor and outdoor eating areas, full kitchen, everything... More
