An excellent stay for a family wedding which was made even better by the superb service, friendly helpful and smiling staff. Food was good and the setting is beautiful. Wou;ld certainly consiedr coming back for a weekend break at another time.

Impromptu meal for two this evening at the Moat House. I'd personally not been before. I had the chicken special (with coconut and coriander) and my wife had the burger. We went to the restaurant with friends, where we had a great meal. We all had the Taster Menu, superb in every way, even when courses needed to be tweeked due to my husbands food allergy. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, whether for a romantic meal for two, or a group of family and friends.

Nothing is too much trouble. We stayed one night, for a charity ball, room was superb, trad beer on tap. Was excellent, food was hot, tasty , fresh and local.not your average bedroom factory, a really nice place to stay in lovely gardens, can't fault it
