Very easy access by auto, and public parking free from 22:00 to 10:00 by the door. Nice staff, very nice standard room and a very good breakfast. I found the room quite large, and well furnished. It is in keeping with the parador, which is a castle several hundreds of years old. The furniture gave the correct feel, being all old wood, which went with the oak walls and shutters. Wifi was available and there is an excellent restaurant. Strongly recommended for atmosphere.

The Zafra Parador is an excellent choice for a stopover and quick sight-seeing. The rooms are well appointed and the food is good (though by no means exceptional). One annoyance is that the city tends to be rather noisy, even in winter time. Also, note that wifi may not be available in most rooms because of the thick stone walls!

The room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. There is a lovely courtyard with a bar and restaurant. The location is perfect with a three minute walk to the Plaza and shops. I liked everything about this hotel and I certainly would return if I am in this part of the world again. Very charming indeed.
