I stayed at this hotel on my vist to Route 66 with a friend this motel is excellent , i would really reccomend this to anyone who is going to do the trip , the owners wer very helpful and could not do enough for us Mick Ireland

We were on our way to Laughlin, NV and stayed one night at Motel 6 at Barstow. It was neat and clean. People at the desk were very pleasant and when I called for a reservation the person I spoke to was very helpful. We will probably stay there again when headed that way.

I have stayed in countless Route 66 motels over the last decade. Some were classics (neat, clean and classy). Others were dumps. The Route 66 Motel was somewhere in-between. Pretty much all Route 66 'genuine' motels have small rooms, this was no exception. They'd kept the round bed, which was cool but only moderately comfortable. I really enjoyed traveling from the Great Lakes to LA and stopping on the way at this historic little property. I would highly recommend staying overnight. Quiet, fun motel. Took lots of pictures.

Nice quiet little place. Basic stuff. All very clean and smoke-free. Bed was comfortable. Folk were friendly. Great deal for the price. Would go back again.
