Stayed here end of October. Had read reviews prior to stay and agree with all the praise. We loved the quiet setting, our room was beautiful everything had been thought of. Private patio with comfortable chairs overlooking the valley with the sound of sheep bells around. Meals on botrh evenings were superb, Patricia and Carmen produced delicious food. All the... More

I did wonder why the website had quite such comprehensive travel instructions, but after getting lost twice round the various roundabouts and tiny turnings I responses that I should have paid a bit more attention. In particular the last stretch up a tiny road meant that our arrival was accompanied by the smell of burning clutch. But boy it was... More

Book room 8 which is on the ground floor with outside terrace. Partake of the evening meals which are delicious, cooked by Patricia, co-owner and served by attentive, friendly staff one being Carmen. Stunning views, excellent choice for breakfast go when it is not too hot, relax and enjoy the ambience. In the early evening listen for the sound of... More

The rooms are good well appointed and the food is excellent local fare, freshly cooked and presented with a friendly smile. The pool is a bonus for the afternoons especially on a hot July day!! would suggest booking a room with an outside space for the hour before dinner. Highly recommend. More

The journey from Marbella was very pleasant and straight forward, directions from the website are spot on. We were greeted by Patricia the co-owner, who from the off, was very friendly and welcoming. The location is amazing, very calming and peaceful, a great escape from the bustle of Granada, although only a 20 minute taxi drive away. Our room was... More

I read the reviews before booking the hotel, and the drive uphill was not nearly as scarry as I expected. I've driven a lot in Europe so the drive up and down didn't faze us. We also had no problem finding the hotel thanks to the instructions they emailed us. Other than that I can only agree with the positive... More

The last km uphill is not for the faint-hearted - but what would you expect from a hideaway hotel in the Sierra Nevada, just out of Monachil? But its well worth the effort: a former farmhouse nicely made into a cosy, up-style hotel with apparently a lot of heart put into it, a terrace with an overwhelming view at 1500+... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, at the end of the 2nd part of our honeymoon. After a long drive from Seville, we eventually navigated up the long and winding drive to be greeted by Manuel, who gave us a tour of his amazing property. We were then shown to our room...one of the newer rooms, which was... More

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful place for 2 nights. We booked here to avoid having to drive into Granada, it was a great choice, the view across the Sierra Nevada was stunning and it was so peaceful. We had a first floor room with a big balcony looking out over the mountains, truly breathtaking. The room had... More
