FACT: You can go to a B&B as a single woman, feel completely comfortable, and have a wonderful, relaxing vacation...if you take your single self to The Blue Horse Inn. I just returned from a one-week stay as a "singleton," having left my husband behind to spend some quality time on my own (confession: I did bring my beloved pet... More

Having never been to Woodstock, and going to attend a wedding, we absolutely lucked out on choosing The Blue Horse Inn to stay! Jennifer made us feel right at home, our room was cozy and the bed was so comfortable we both had a great first night sleep, unheard of for us. The coffee is worth waking up for and... More

Second year staying at The Blue Horse Inn for teh Covered Bridge Half Marathon. Staff was awsome once again with great customer service provided by Jennifer. Early breakfast set up for the runners and guest with homemade granola that was the perfect touch. With the recent addition of central air the weekend heat wave was not even a thought (until... More

After 25 plus years of winters at the Woodstock Inn, we found ourselves longing for the Inn we used to know where families read by the fire, wild board games were waged in the Library and the Front Desk staff would find the Popple we accidentally left at Tea Time and bring it back to us with a smile. The... More

Absolutely wonderful. The staff is incredible - very helpful, friendly, and attentive. And also very fun to chat with. We have been going to Woodstock for nearly thirty years, and this was by far the most welcoming experience we have ever had. The food is absolutely outstanding - breakfast was hands down some of the best breakfast I have ever... More

We just welcomed 2013 at our favorite place; despite both of us being at the tail end of nasty colds, my husband and I figured that the best way to kick 2012 to the curb and say HI to the New Year was at The Blue Horse. Of course, it ended up being the perfect place for our New Year's... More

This is an elegant yet warm and inviting inn run by Keri and her assistants who bustle around you trying to meet your every need... We were there for three nights and had two rooms.. Both rooms were empeccable and newly renovated as is the entire inn.... fresh duvets and crisp white sheets instead of those awful flowery bed spreads... More

We stay here every year for a few days after Christmas, and it is such a lovely inn. The rooms are all gorgeous, well decorated and very clean with lovely modern furniture and bathrooms. The breakfasts are fabulous -- arrive starving and you'll leave stuffed. The staff are all wonderful -- very friendly and exceptionally accomodating. You will not be... More

My husband and I spent Thanksgiving weekend here after visiting New York for 2 days. The Inn is charming and the staff, exceptional. Keri, the proprietor/chef is very sweet as is all of her staff. Dena, greeted us on our arrival and escorted us to our room #5. We chose this room for the location as it was noted by... More

We stayed three nights over the busy Thanksgiving weekend. The Inn is conveniently located to downtown Woodstock and a short walk to all that Woodstock has to offer. My wife, I and our 85 pound dog staying in room 6. The room had a lot of space, large walk in closet and a big bathroom. They even supplied a fluffy... More
