We offer six en-suite rooms with views over spectacular countryside. Two lounges, pool, terraces and gardens give opportunity to relax with others, or escape as the mood takes you. We are popular with independent travelers who like the freedom and privacy normally associated with self-catering accomodation without the hassle of actually having to cook and clean for themselves. They tell us they love the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere here, and easy access to major tourist sites. We also offer horseback riding, massage and e bike rental. On request we offer lunch or dinner served in the lemon grove. We are only 2 km from the white village Alora, so you can walk to the village in 25 minutes or go by car within 5 minutes. Nearby we have the world famous Caminito del Rey hiking route, El Chorro nature park and the Ardales Lakes where you can swim or go canoeing or cayaking. At Fuegoblanco we have friendly dogs, cats and horses. We welcome you to stay at our organic lemon farm and B&B

I received the warmest welcome from Tina and Martin, felt instantly at home & relaxed. An oasis of peace & quiet & a must if you love dogs. All so friendly & sociable! The ride out was bliss and tailored perfectly for my experience & adventure level! Amazing variety of terrains & scenery with lots of pace too. Great fun! The lunch was freshly prepared with ingredients from their own land & tasted divine! I didn’t stay overnight as mine was just a day trip but I would highly recommend fuegoblanco to anyone looking for a little getaway. I sincerely hope to return!

Stayed there with 5 friends for a long weekend and enjoyed every second of it ! I had the luxury of being "upgraded" to a single room with the most beautiful balcony overlooking the courtyard and the mountains. So enjoyed the horse action from first row watching the lovely hostess Tina preparing the horses for a guest ride through the citrusgrove and up in the mountains. I didnt ride myself but had lots of fun watching. I truly enjoyed the relaxed and calm mood in Fuego Blanco and turned home with batteries fully loaded.Thx to Tina and Martin for making this a memorable long weekend.

I stayed at Fuego Blanco with a group of female friends. It was a perfect holiday. We had booked the larger room for 6 of us which included a sofa bed but immediately on arrival Tina offered us a spare room so that we had more space. Fuego Blanco is charming, with a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by country side and rolling hills. The breakfast was superb with lots of choice and fresh fruit every morning. The friendly cats and dogs add to the relaxed atmosphere. A couple of us went out horse riding with Tina which was a wonderful experience. We were both beginners and she was kind and supportive throughout the ride, with Martin walking with us until we got our bearings. I highly recommend the lunches and dinners here, more expensive than the local food but far superior in taste and quality. I can't wait to go back!

We stayed a group of 12 people for a yoga retreat . And experienced such warmth and loving care from Tina and Martin at Fuegoblanco..that it added a dimension to the stay we could only have dreamed of. Such a lovely setting. Food was made by Anna (Spanish cook) with loving care... We rode horses.. swam, did yoga, meditated on the beautiful view from the pool area.. and felt so at home that it was painful leaving.

I stayed there for a week recently with a friend. We chose the location as we planned to hike in the area and we wanted a quiet, home-like atmosphere. Fuego Blanco did not disappoint. It is in a quiet area, surrounded by organic lemon, orange and olive trees. We stayed in the Olive Suite which is actually a two bedroom split level apartment which had a living/dining room area, balcony and the two bedrooms. There is a common room outside on the same level where one could also spend time. The owner Tina is a fantastic hostess and did everything to make our stay comfortable. We had lovely breakfast daily in the garden when the weather was nice. The apartment was so comfortable to hang out as one rainy day I chose to just sit and read and sleep and felt like I was at home. Fuego Blanco is easily accessible to Alora if you want to go there and only about 35 minutes from Malaga if one needed or wanted to go to the city. We were there primarily for hiking so were able to easily access the Caminito Del Rey and one day took a fantastic trip to Grazalema to hike in that area. There is also a hike to Monte El Hacho (rated as easy) that one could take by walking about 20 minutes to the convent near the property --- It is more demanding due to the vertical climb than rated but easy in the sense it is on a wide trail/road. Some recommendations: If you want to travel around you do need a car. Our GPS did not find the place easily but Tina provided the directions. If you plan to go hiking, etc would be best to get an all wheel drive and a car with some power to get up some of the narrow steep roads. I had to do some work while there - the Internet in our room was spotty but worked well from the shared space outside the room I

I knew where we were heading and i saw the website but none gave justice to the magnificent experience. I went there with my dad and his wife and my girlfriend and oh boy was this an incredible stay. It's located right outside inner Alora and the sightseeings, foods, is all so great. We never ran out of things to see and do and every morning we were met with the sweetest breakfast including fresh fruit, youghurt, homemade buns & freshly made juice etc. The view here is insane and ur always met with a smile and the host speaks perfect English so its easy to ask for guidance. Just go there no matter who you are, you wont be disapointed. :-)

Breakfast was very nice and our day trips she was very helpful organizing. Having read all the great reviews given here before booking a one week stay during our autumn break, expectations were high when we arrived at Fuego Blanco on Oct. 19th. We were, however, quite disappointed for a number of reasons. The extra bed provided for our daughter (an extra €30 per night) was excruciatingly uncomfortable and unfit for anyone to sleep on for any longer period of time. The general decor of our two rooms was somewhat shabby with peeling plastic stickers on the wall and very basic furnishings. Hot water for a shower in the morning was hard to come by. At best, it was lukewarm and only after having to let the water run for several minutes (not very "green" for a place that markets itself as organic) The pool area would have been quite decent had it not been for all the broken /tatty sun beds/pool furniture and the rim of green algae in the pool itself. Overall, the place looked like it could do with some general maintenance and a clean. An update of the rooms wouldn't go amiss either. At almost €100,- a night incl. taxes it isn't exactly cheap within its category and for the area. With no charm to speak of, the nearby town of Alora also failed to impress. Despite recommendations on their website (no addresses on there by the way, just the name of the restaurant ), we struggled to find a decent place to eat that wasn't closed or with seating 0,5m from a busy road with noisy scooters and cars going by constantly. Spirits low, we decided to leave after 2 days, hoping to find accommodations elsewhere and save what was left of our holiday. Such a shame, as Tina is a very friendly and helpful host. But in our opinion, Fuego Blanco just doesn't live up to the "5-star" rating on this site. Chris & Susanne

Response from Tina S, Ejer at FuegoBlanco
Responded 29 Oct 2016
Hi Susanne, Thanks for your review. I am sad that your stay did not live up to your expectations. We wrote so well together on E-mail before arrival, and I was really looking forward to having you and your family here for the autumn break. You asked for 2 double rooms and later you added a request for an extra bed for your 12 year-old daughter, which correctly is 30 euro extra; a price which includes breakfast. I find this price reasonable for acommondation and breakfast, but will do some searching and see if I should change that policy. Some of your points are about the decor and furniture in the rooms, and I can only agree, that it is not expensive design furniture/decorations, not that I see it as a weakness as you do, but because it is a bed & breakfast, not a 5 star hotel which you imply I have given the impression of :-). My webpage has plenty of photos from the rooms, and all the rooms and furniture are precisely as the photos show. When guests come here, they come for the nature, relaxation and ecological awareness. Regarding hot water, the water here is heated by solar panels and therefore it takes some minutes for the water to run from the solar tank through the pipes to the showers. This is not due to bad eco behavior, it is actually the opposite, because we do not use electricity to heat the water. The water is from our well, so also here it is very eco-friendly as we do not use city-water, but only use water from our own well. I have looked and searched for the algiers you talk about in the pool, and have not found them, but the sun beds are in fact a bit used/old, so I will change them for next season. You left after only 2 days, giving the reason your husband had slept or had not been able to sleep in the extra bed, but I had made a bed for a 12 year-old girl (as asked for in your e-mails), not for an adult. I offered you another room and bed, but your hearts were set for leaving to Ronda, a beautiful village like Alora, and I hope you found 5 great days there. Best regards Tina Fuegoblanco
