I slept a night at the Hotel Principe da Beira in summer.The hotel are isolated from the city, architecturally is well built and there's many activities and services. The rooms are not fantastic but not horrible. The breakfast are quite good, with lot of diversity as fruit and types of bread.

Our second time here, and it was as good as we remembered. We really were suprised when we arrived in the hotel. Old seminare whichhas been transformed in modern and nice hotel, keeping although the old details!

We arrived from the Torre on the Serra de Estrella which was at 1993 meters surrounded by remaining layers of snow and covered in the foggy clouds that produced cold rain. It's a modern hotel, with nice rooms and a great service. Staff is very nice and they have an beautifull room for restaurant and breakfast. It's well located (near high-way) that allows you to visit Castelo Branco, in a few minutes.

We went 4 days to Serra da Estrela and stayed in this magnific hotel. With big rooms, good breakfast, EXCELLENT restaurant , a charming and helpful staff we loved this hotel.
