This is a friendly 3-star hotel in luscious surroundings in the southwest of Sardinia. The hotel mainly caters for fullboarders booked through a travel agent, but also has residence-like accommodation, i.e. self-catering mini apartments with kitchen and fridge. The rooms are simply but tastefully decorated, and have air conditioning (which thankfully is not too noisy as in some 4* or... More

warm welcoming and well maintained, a modern hotel surrounded by greenery with a beautiful view over the lagoon and the tears on the high sea. a one-week stay with my family, full board, really relaxing, from a beautiful beach, long, sandy silver, thin and soft. perfect for my daughter for 6 years since the seabed is very low. We did... More

Holiday dates - End of Sept 09 thru Beginning Oct 09 Things were never going to be great when arriving at the hotel our paths were crossed by previous guests departing, who described the hotel as Fawlty Towers.........! On a positive first, the rooms were clean tidy and adequate for our stay. Cleaned daily. The hotel was ok but the... More

We went in early October but everything in the local town was closed. And I mean EVERYTHING. The nearest supermarket is a 4 mile walk away (or 10 Euro taxi if you're not a walker). A lot of people were complaining of nothing to do but that is why we went away, to relax and get away from everything and... More

Not having travelled to Sardinia before this was an experience that my wife and I were looking forward to. However when logging on to trip advisor again, a few days before our departure, I noticed some comments that raised some concerns. I eventually managed to speak with Janine, the senior person at hotelsbooked.com (also known as Happy Holidays), to discuss... More

From previous reviews, I fear I have nothing additional to add. However, I'll start with the positives. One of the best beaches in Europe - clean with clear seas., 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Unfortunately this is where it ends. Clean, basic rooms with sub standard air conditioning which did nothing to deter the constant superhuman mosquitoes within the... More

Thank goodness for our lovely fellow guests without whom this would have been truely awful. Everywhere closed - it cost 10 euro per couple to get to the nearest supermarket and it was necessary to supplement our food initially as everyone was going to bed hungry. After several failed attempts on the hotel phone to contact Hotelsbooked I managed to... More

We returned this week from an excellent relaxing break at the Hotel Cala Dei Pini. We've read the previous reviews and feel that in the main, many of them are unfair. Like most other guests there, we booked through Hotelbookers and found that for their part, they did their job extremely well. They're not so much a travel agent as... More

Transfer from Cagliari OK - Arrived at hotel late with children so ordered a snack. Got a slice of dried ham each, cheese and rock hard bread, with some soft drinks it cost 34 Euros! That was the start of the rip-off. Listened to other guest’s complaints, one trying to arrange early flight home as they had booked for 2... More
