The drive to this location is long, mountainous and curly. The hotel as plain as its view to the fjord i.e. at least in august no good for taking pictures. The breakfast was good the dinner was not. This place is 50% overpriced by non icelandic standards. Our expectations after the reasonably priced Akureyri Edda were clearly to high.

“A hotel with incredible views”

When we first arrive and open the room door a very bad smell came. The room is very poor because it is a student residence in winter: two beds and two desks. The bathroom have the same style. Also, the internet access was not free. You have to pay by a wireless connection or put your visa in the lobby... More

This was the best place we stayed in Iceland this year. Our room had a huge window with an amazing view of the fjord.
