Unlike the pretentious, snooty and over-rated wine country inns in many areas of the US, this is a modern, well run and very friendly inn with a great restaurant. The hotel is nicely located near the (intact) walls of the old city. Around it are beautiful court yards. The place is quit because there are almost no cars here. The rooms are nice but the meals are fabulous and the service is very helpful and friendly. A gem in the German Weinstrasse.

What a fantastic little Hotel and especially the restaurant! The Hotel Luther is Located in a picture perfect and American visitor friendly quaint medievel walled town. Now, that so many of us have become enlightened to the "Age Of Reisling", Freinsheim is a perfect place to call homebase whilst one explores the quaint and historic Pfalz wine country of Germany...
