Trip advisor for Omaha KOA This KOA is perfect for an overnight stay. Ammenities were immaculate, service was friendly, and the campsite was exactly as you would expect. Wifi worked fine. Some reviews have mentioned street noise, and there was some, but the campground itself was quiet. One of the reasons we like KOAs so much is that many of... More

First things first. Although this KOA is named the "west omaha koa", it is actually in the little town of Gretna, which is outside of Omaha. Its about a 10-15 minute drive to Omaha, depending on where you are headed. As far as campground options in the area go, I've checked them all out and this one appears to be... More

We made a resevation for a monthlong stay in july for August and September. We were quoted $ 475 for the month from August 28- Sept 27. with a $25 dollar cable charge and metered electricity. That was in our budget and we are KOA members. We have many family in the Omaha area so this sounded good. When we... More

We stayed here over a weekend. There were lots of planned activities, which we enjoyed; not sure if they do that during the week. They cahrged $5 to use the jumping pillow, which was not noted on their website; most KOA's offer this for free. The mini golf, however, was free. We were lucky to have reserved a spacious site;... We recently spent one night at the West Omaha KOA, in one of their "kamping kottages". The cottages are a bit more upscale than their "kamping cabins", with a small kitchenette, bathroom, and cable TV. We were in cottage #3. There were 3 or 4 cottages at this KOA, and maybe 7 or 8 cabins. The cottage was very, very... More

We stayed for 5 days to visit family and had a very nice time. Campground very clean, quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful. The fresh made pizza was wonderful and I hear they will soon have BBQ. We will definitly come here again. Great Park.

We stayed here awhile back last year. This campground was the least fun we encountered on the trip. The camp ground itself is very clean and well maintained. But the sites are so close together that it feels more like a parking lot then camping. I think we had the smallest site there (and we booked months in advance). The... More

This KOA is next to the interstate and a heavily traveled highway and is exctremly noisy. It was so bad that at times it was actually hard to carry on a conversation. The campsites are very close to each other and small. Even the cabins are close with some sharing a deck and fire pit so it can be inconvenient... More

We stayed there..i fell asleep for maybe and hr or so..and started itching like crazy.Hubby thought it was my imagination. Finally i felt something on my skin,we turned on the lights and there was bugs all over!! We were quite concerned about this complaint and had a professional exterminator out immediately. Upon thorough investigation, he could find no evidence of bedbugs, but did treat the cabin anyway. We have had no further incidences or complaints before or since. We believe that their concern about being bitten was legitimate but whatever pest it was, traveled with them in... More

This campground was quite picturesque, the lots were laid out nicely, and the staff was friendly. They also offer freshly-made pizza which we found delicious even though it was a little pricey. We were disappointed, however, to find manure in the dog play area, the spa not in working order, and the intial space assigned to us was along the... More
