I was a little concerned due to some of the other reviews on this site, but L'Abbaye looked absolutely gorgeous on its website, and so it proved to be. When we arrived we were greeted warmly; our deluxe room was spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean; and we were able to book in for dinner in the downstairs restaurant.... Having previously confirmed our booking and taken our credit card as a reference, this Hotel cancelled our reservation only a week prior to our arrival. The reason being apparently to accomodate a larger group ! They did offer to find us an alternative, but this was not suitable and it took us some time to find another Hotel. Won't be... More
