Green Lake Guest House represents everything that a superior B&B should be : welcoming, cozy, spotless and relaxing with good breakfasts. Julie is a lovely person who is very happy to help in any she can. The Green Lake location is a huge plus and we took full advantage of it, with several walks/runs daily. All the little touches are... More

Loving care, attention to detail, and harmonious atmosphere was maintained by Julie, the owner. Emma, the dog, was also a wonderful presence. We usually are in Seattle on business, and get out as soon as possible to get back to Portland. This trip was personal, and our two night stay at Greenlake Guest House made it a very special experience.

My sister and I recently stayed 4 nights at the GLGH - I have stayed in many Bed and Breakfasts and this one rates at the top. Our host Julie has thought of every detail to make our stay perfect. Breakfasts were amazingly good and differed each day. Fresh baked cookies, snacks and coffee were available throughout the day, as... More

I stayed at the Greenlake Guest House over a weekend in April while I was in town visiting family. It was the perfect place to stay, from the fantastic location overlooking Green Lake with its great running/walking path, to the delicious breakfast and the comfortable and clean rooms. The owners have put many thoughtful touches into their B&B, including Gilchrist... More

Just a wonderful experience. Our "kids" put us onto the guest house, since they stayed there previously (the family is sort of descendng on the Green Lake area because youngest daughter just had her first and she lives really close by). Julie and Blayne were perfect hosts, including accommodating a midnight arrival. Room was wonderful (Ballard - smallish but since... More

This guesthouse fronts Green Lake, north of Seattle, WA. The amenities in our bedroon were numerous--heated tile floor in the bathroom in additon to the jacuzzi tub; a spacious closet in which to unpack; an "artsy-designed" full length mirror; and lots of light. Outside the bedroom, there are the "best of" DVD's available, a small library and a refrigerator for... More

We stayed here one night while on our way to a driving tour of Washington and Oregon. The room was very nice and filled with attention to detail. The bathroom had a two person tub and a great selection of toiletries. It was exceptionally clean. The location is on a busy street, but is also next to a park. There... More

A great getwaway spot in the Green Lake section of Seattle, within a short walk of a a variety of several good restaurants. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well appointed. Coffee and breakfast were excellent, as was the wine in the evening by the fireplace. If the weather's nice, Green Lake itself offers leisurely outdoor options right out the... More

Stayed two nights here in October 2012. The hospitality was excellent with both Julie & Blayne making us feel very welcome and helping us to make the best of our short stay. Great breakfast and a help yourself fridge for drinks. Even though there is a busy road between the guest house and the park we did not hear it... More

Lovely place. Perfect for a walk around the lake, central for any activity in Seattle. The room was clean and cozy. Great soaking tub, heated floors and a nice fireplace. Julie was attentive and had a great, custom breakfast ready.
