Me and two friends were actually kicked off the property by the lady at the front desk just for trying to get a room for the night. We literally walked in and she started screaming at us and threatened to call the police just because we are teenagers. She then wrote down my license plate as we were leaving.

Its actually called Travelodge Midtown Seattle. Its on Aurora avenue and has a bus station to downtown just outside, the ride to downtown is 20-30 minutes. the prices in this hotel compared with downtown were unbelieveable (50% cheaper I would say) and it really wasnt much of a problem to get to downtown. the customer service was fantastic and we... the telephone was out of order and i was trying to plan a funeral. i reported it. they offered me their cell phone if i went to the lobby. i didn't know if messages were working. had to stay one more night and had to change to a different room, twice as much $. no adjustment for the phone problem.
