I organised a small business meeting here (10 people) last year and the staff were so helpful in getting things set up and before hand. The food with the package was excellent quality and the meeting rooms, and lounge area were suitably cool. I loved the rooms here and the art work. Highly recommend for business trips. Also the location... More

We got a queen 1bdrm on the 10th floor. We had our little baby with us who needed a crib to sleep in. The room was so small there was no room for the crib. We were promptly moved to another room that had two dbls, which was much bigger and spacious. Later to find out one of the beds... More

Dear reginafalan (Boston, Massachusetts), Thank you for the feedback and I apologize that the bed did not meet your needs. The Groupon promotion was intended for rooms with Queens. We will look into the room opportunity with the mattress. My email is "jimc@hotelmaxseattle.com." Regards, Jim Chittenden General Manager More

Stayed at the Hotel Max for 2 days while in Seattle. My husband and I were looking for a place reasonably priced and close to attractions downtown. Hotel Max was a great find. Rooms & beds very comfortable. They even have a pillow menu if you are choosy about your pillows. Shower small but manageable. The hotel is only a... More

Wonderful staff, great location and unique boutique rooms, ala European styles. We'd go back for sure.

Stayed here with my husband for one night. We booked through a third party deal, which included valet parking. Service was alright. We had to circle the streets and got honked at when we were trying to get valet to take our car. I actually had to run into the hotel while my husband circled the block yet again to... More

Dear branmoof on 5/22/12, Thank you for the feedback. I apologize that the valet arrival was confusing. Twice a day for three hours each the front door/valet area is a bus zone and we are not allowed by the city to accept vehicles during those hours which is why guests have to drive around the block to the alternative area.... I stayed with my daughter & her friend for a "girls weekend" during the Seattle Cheese Festival. It's an easy walk to Pike's Place. The valet was friendly and courteous. The modern art and decor was fun and refreshing compared to the run of the mill decor you see in a lot of places. The room doors are large photographs... More

Hotel Max was a great hotel in a great location. It is easily accessible from the airport via light rail and the location is right in the middle of Downtown shopping district. The staff was so nice and help and the restaurant in the hotel was also great. I would definitely recommend this cute boutique hotel!

I found this hotel via Groupon and am glad I did. Seattle is a great city and the downtown area specifically is pretty fantastic. Hotel Max isn't perfectly located (it's about a 15-minute walk to the waterfront) but it ain't bad. There are a number of shops and restaurants nearby as is a light rail stop. I just found myself... I found my room to be clean and fun. I had a nice view overlooking the street. It's a nice walk to Westlake Center, but Pike's Place and the Space Needle are a bit of a walk. I did it though with no problem. There are several nice restaurants located in the area too.

Yes, the room is small, but are people really just hanging out in their hotel rooms all day?! Go and explore Seattle! Or if you are going to stay in, then spend a little extra for a bigger layout (which they offer). I used a Groupon to stay at the Queen of Art room, and they were very friendly and... More
