I stayed at hotel Max for 2 nights. Super easy check in took 2 minutes. We got a room on the 2nd floor, and it was a handicapped equipped room, even though we didn't need it. Lots of extra space though so that was nice. Comfortable beds and a nice tv. Great location, 5 minute walk to the space needle.... More

This was my second time staying here. It was again a good experience again. As I said the rooms are pretty small but they are nicely done. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was always on point and got us what we needed in a few minutes. The Red Fin Restaurant downstairs has very good Sushi and other small... More

We recently stayed following a cruise, we arrived first thing in the morning, but unfortunately were unable to check in until 4pm. When we arrived, we were advised that our room only had one bed, when we had previously booked a twin room as I was travelling with my mother. They finally agreed to change our room and once we... Thanks for reaching out, Peppy. Our check-ins are at four to allow our cleaning staff ample time to make the rooms clean and spotless. That said, there shouldn't have been any stains on the carpet, and I sincerely apologize for that. I'll be checking throughout the hotel rooms to make sure this gets fixed right away—thanks for bringing it to... More

We stayed at Hotel Max for a wedding last weekend. The overall experience was good, but there are a some things that we didn't like. First, the sink in the bathroom had this tiny counter and we could hardly fit our toilettries bags on them; and water kept splashing all over the place. Second, the walls were thin, but that... More

Glad to hear from you, Reginald! I'm very happy you chose to stay with us during the wedding celebrations and that you had a good time with us. Although the insulation in the walls is out of our control, we're more than happy to help resolve noise complaints. However, I do want to apologize for our car service making you... More

We booked at Hotel Max for a night before a cruise. We arrived late after a flight delay. We were given a room right by elevator. Horrible decor, loud, and small is an understatement. The towel rack was behind the toilet which looked like it belonged in a truck stop. Tiny bathroom. No place for luggage. We were too tired... More

This is a great hotel for visiting Seattle. $40 taxi ride from Setac to hotel. Great location, 5 minutes walk to the shops. 10-15 minutes walk to the space needle ( or 5 minutes to the monorail ) 15 minute walk to the seafront. 30 minutes to Baseball ground. Easy access to everywhere. Room very clean on arrival, and cleaned... More

The location of this hotel is quite central in relative to all the tourist spots. My room that I was booked into was a little small but it's good enough for a single traveler. The decorations and the outlay of the room's very interesting and very different from the usual conventional hotel. It has more of an artistic flare in... More

We stayed here for 3 nights before driving to Eugene, the first room we were shown was nice but small and only had a shower, we asked for a room with a bath and were moved to a room on the 2nd floor, this was even smaller with no view. We are used to busy city street noise but unfortunately... More

We appreciate your input, Melvin! I understand the issue taken with room size given that we're a historic hotel, but thanks for pointing out that we have larger rooms available. Were you able to find a restaurant close by? There's no shortage of restaurants in downtown Seattle, but perhaps there was an event that closed many of the restaurants that... More

We stayed for one evening before ferrying to Victoria this morning to visit uVic with our son. We arrived at 9pm, tired after traveling, and were told that there were no rooms with two double beds and that they were out of rollaways. Thank you for the insight, Christine. I'm sorry to hear your night with us was disappointing. You offer helpful, pointed feedback, which we really appreciate. While expanding the space of rooms and bathrooms in our historic building might not be as feasible, we can most certainly work on our communication and customer service. Thank you for bringing this to my... More

I stayed in a second floor room with a colleague. There was a little bit of street noise.
