Stayed two nights in June...cabin on ground level. Comfortable bed and very clean. Breakfast was good...bagels, cereal, fresh fruit. The staff (Jesse and Jessica) were welcoming and helpful. Great views from the deck with eagles close up. A bit out of town but the drive is easy and the view is worth it. Would definitely stay here again.

My huband and I stayed at the Alaska Saltwater Lodge for five nights in June 2011 and it was such a fantastic experience! The room was clean, comfortable and cozy, and the owner and staff made it a truly unforgettable stay. The whole lodge has a personal touch that gives everyone a warm, welcoming feel.

This place is a 10 minute drive from Seward, so do not expect easy access to the city. However, the views from the deck are pretty spectacular. Saltwater lodge is quite basic, really. Or, I dont know if this is all you can expect in Seward. Small room with a queen and a twin bed.
