Great hospitality: a warm welcome greeting, freshly baked cookies on the table, milk in the fridge... The house is beautiful, impeccably clean and nicely decorated, the beds are comfy, the view of the mountains from the jaccuzi is peaceful. Totally secluded yet close to town and Exit glacier.

The Host Karen Chase provides the most comfortable setting after all your little day trips in Seward, Alaska!! The Guest House was spotless and she even made us homemade goodies!! Havenwood is an exceptional place to stay. It has a full kitchen with all of the amenities necessary. Plenty of room to move around and plenty of sleeping areas. Perfect place to stay if dirt and hair are not a priority. We would not stay here again because of the hair in bathroom left from prevous guests. We would give it 5 stars if it was clean. Owners very very nice. Place could be perfect after cleaned.

We absolutely loved staying at the Havenwood Guest House. It was the best place we stayed in Alaska.
