Nancy's Hideaway is the "perfect" place to stay while enjoying Hawaii! We found it spotlessly clean, fully stocked with everything we needed and/or desired, very comfortable, delicious breakfasts, a gracious hostess, and a location that was not only beautiful but very quiet, relaxing and conveniently located to the airport but not too close to be disturbed by aircraft or traffic.... I think everyone has covered all the wonderful things about this place and its gracious hostess but it is one of my favorite places to stay...ever! The neighborhood is also beautiful and quiet for good uphill power walks. Hardly any traffic.

Nancy's hideaway is the prefect oasis of quiet and comfort while staying on the Kona coast. The cottage was immaculately kept and Nancy put a wonderful mix of fresh fruit and baked goods in the refrigerator every day for breakfast the next morning. It's located just a few minutes away from downtown Kona is very convenient to the local attractions... More

The best part about staying at Nancy's is coming back again! We stayed there 6 years ago, and when we returned for 4 nights in December it was just as wonderful as remembered. Beautiful location, spotless studio, everything you need for beach hopping (towels, chairs, cooler), and best of all the breakfasts that magically appear in the fridge for the... More

Arrived late Saturday afternoon 12/29/12 and Nancy was there to greet us, got us checked in, gave me directions to the nearest convenience store and gave us total privacy for the rest of our stay saying that she's just a phone call away if we need anything. Everything we need was available in this very very clean cottage. Plenty of... More

The locations is a bit out of Kona (12 minute drive), which we preferred. It's quiet and a bit cooler being slightly up in the mountains (which we appreciated after a warm hike!) We stayed at the cottage which is extremely clean. I liked that there was a full bath rather than a small shower (which is often the case... More

First of all, Nancy is a wonderful host. She is very responsive to guest needs, and supplies an abundance of great food for the guests. She is very unobtrusive, but highly available as well. We stayed in the Nahele Cottage. It is a spacious, spotless cottage. Nancy supplies beach chairs, cooler, and other useful items. There' a great lanai for watching... More

My husband and I stayed in the Nahele cottage for four nights. I wish we could have stayed longer. As others have stated, the place is immaculate. The bed is king size and comfortable. There are dresser drawers, a large closet, and everything you will need. There are extra beach towels, 2 beach chairs, a small cooler, even an ice... More

My girlfriend and I spent 1 week at Nancy's and found it to be just great. After a long day of driving or snorkeling or whatever we were doing that day, we found it was a very relaxing and comfortable place to come back to. Nancy is a very gracious host and the breakfasts that she leaves in the refrigerator... More

We loved our stay at Nancy's Hideaway. We stayed in Nahele Cottage, which was immaculate, quiet, well-equipped and overlooked beautiful gardens and then down over Kona and the ocean. Nancy's breakfasts were delicious - we ate them out on the lanai each morning. The cottage is a ten minute drive out of Kona, but it is a perfect retreat. Very... More
