We have stayed at Sunnyvale Garden suites many, many times! We have celebrated many Holidays, Birthdays etc. This was a belated Easter celebration with our Son and Granddaughter. Perfect grounds for an Easter Egg hunt (two actually)! Tony is always so accomodating and the rest of the team is great too. The rooms are large and the kitchens are convenient... More

The manager was nice enough (or rather the man who greeted us, not sure if he was the manager) but we had asked for adjoining rooms in the reservation- and what we were given were two rooms (one quite nice, the other not so much) back to back of each other (that did not have an adjoining door) so that... Thank you for your comments. The property was built as a condo style living. It was designed with individual privacy in mind, each unit with private patios that did not allow for adjoining door units. An alternative could have been a two-bedroom unit, or units fronting each other which most of our guests prefer. We apologize that this was not... More

We had a wonderful stay in Sunnyvale Garden Suites Hotel. The room which included a full kitchen was very clean, the bed omfartable and the location is perfect for visiting Joshua Tree National Park. Tony, the owner, was extremely helpful. I needed to scan and e-mail important papers and he came over and helped me by using his scanner and... More

Having stayed at other hotels in 29 Palms, my husband and I were thrilled to find a place with personality. The full kitchen gave us a little bit of normalcy after we moved out of our house. A couple of family members flew out to visit and also stayed here. They were very pleased with their rooms as well. The... More

This was our second stay at Sunnyvale Garden Suites. We spent three nights in the Prospector Suite, which is great for a single or a couple. It's not fancy; in fact, it's more on the funky end, but the bed is extremely comfortable, and the unit is roomy, with a couch; TV; dining table and chairs; and a full kitchen,... More

Our family had 3 rooms and each one was different but all were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The love seat in my room was not too comfortable but the kitchen was fairly well equipped for cooking which we did one night. There was a nice table for our dinner. The kitchens were stocked with a few cleaning... More

We stayed here because we wanted a place with character and to avoid the chain hotels. It does have character and it also has a very pleasant and helpful host. Otherwise, we found little to recommend this hotel. The place just generally has a sense of grubbiness and could use a good cleaning. It feels like the furniture has been... More

Your feedback is much appreciated. Your honest comment is very helpful in allowing us to improve our facility. We have fixed the hanging door bell. The deadbolt is designed to be locked from the inside only, as an additional indicator that the guest is inside and does not want to be disturbed. Some guests forget to put the "do not... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel to go visit the Joshua Tree National Park. There are good things about the place: it was clean, there were a bedroom plus kitchen, a table to eat and a couch where they had the tv/dvd. The reason I choose the place was because they allowed dogs. As other people said the... More

This hotel is great! It is located away from the hotel strip in a quite neighborhood. My boyfriend and I stayed in a Junior Suite. It has a full kitchen and also has a patio with BBQ grill. I want to start out by saying that there are very few choices of fancy hotels in 29 Palms. It feel like a border town with most hotels on the main drag/freeway. Sunnyvale Gardens is tucked away in a residential area, away from the freeway noise and street lights. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was very spacious.... More

Located in TwentyNine Palms, CA, just minutes outside the main entrance to the world's largest military base, Twentynine Palms U.S. Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC). The MCAGCC marine base is only 4 ½ miles to the north. This makes it perfect for 29 Palms military lodging. Sunnyvale Garden Suites Hotel is conveniently situated central to the 29 Palms shopping and dining. Sunnyvale Garden Suites Hotel offers the only fully furnished hotel accommodations in Twentynine Palms, including all services and amenities one would expect at any fine hotel. Our junior, one and two bedroom suites are over-sized and roomy. They are beautifully decorated with an eclectic style of new and early 20th-century furnishings. Every spacious executive suite is fully equipped from A to Z: kitchens, high speed internet (wired and wireless), 24” or 27” TV and DVD players. Sunnyvale Garden Suites Hotel is the only “extended stay hotel” lodging in 29 Palms, however we welcome many overnight guests as well. Our large one and two bedroom suites are excellent for group meeting and gatherings. The extra comfort we offer will be very much appreciated after a long day of work, or a full day of hiking, rock climbing or just plain adventure in the Joshua Tree National Park! ... more   less
