Your parents probably stayed here back in the 50's. The lady owner keeps it nice and tidy inside and out. It is very close to the east entrance to Joshua Tree NP, The town will have everything you need to restock for the rest of your journey. Reasonable rates, comfortable beds, and well kept.
I went to this motel by accident and stayed longer than expected, the rooms were clean, the lady who runs it could not have been any nicer, and the pool any more inviting.
