Really nice mom and pop operation, if you must have a place within walking distance of Vienna, this place is not for you. If you want a really nice, comfortable room, with a great, friendly hotel staff, this is it.

what a lovely family the alts are! rooms immaculate food very good although limited menu. Was a bit disappointed not to get a room with a bath as full relaxation requires a bath. didn't have a car so getting about was a bit of a problem because we felt that we had to rely on a lift from the alts... We had the pleasure to stay at the Hotel Flic Flac in Mauerbach, just outside of Vienna in September, 2003. The Hotel accommodations were wonderful and the food was excellent. The Alt's were a very warm and hospitable couple and made our stay special and one of the most memorable on our vacation. We look forward to returning someday.
