We booked about six weeks in advance with Crystal and still got £228 off the book price. The chalet was run by four kids from the UK Jack, Kane, Charley, and Sean. They couldnt have done any more to make our stay brilliant. We needed one of the matresses changed after the first night and this was done without a... More

The Sonnenhof offered great value accommodation and a catered chalet basis. The Crystal chalet staff (Hayleigh, Bethan, Kane and Lee in Jan 2012) like all chalet staff, tried their hardest to make our stay an enjoyable one. The accommodation itself was pretty basic but standard for an Austrian chalet. The views from the room were also great. The food was... More

We stayed at The Chalet Sonnenhof for a week's skiing 2nd last week of the season. The chalet was lovely and had a very homely feel to it - the staff could not have been nicer!! There are 4 memebers of Crystal staff - Chantelle, Katie, Ibs and Georgia, these guys do a wonnderful job! The food surprised us we... More

I've just returned from a holiday staying at the Sonnenhof. For those of you who have given poor reviews you ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Rather than expecting 5* luxury for a budget price I suggest that you dig a bit deeper into your pocket next time you go on a skiing holiday. You get what you pay for!!!... More

Me and my boyfriend went for a week at the end of March for a skiing holiday. Being the end of season the town was very quiet as were the slopes! Prices for drinks at the bars and restaurants on and around the slopes were reasonably priced. We hired storage space at the ski rental shop (7euro per person/per week)... More

First time to Austria and in a chalet and we could not fault it will find it hard to find better for the money. Yes the chalet is up a hill and a bit of a walk but the hill not that bad set in great scenery. The bus stops at the bottom of the hill but we walked to... More

Located a two minute bus ride from the end of the road or 15 minute walk to the lifts through the town, this hotel was perfect for our group of 8 adults and 5 children (aged between 9 & 12) for a week from 9-16 Jan. The road down the hill to the bus stop was, as warned, slippy so... More

Just come back from a week in Soll staying at the Sonnenhof. The staff here are fantastic and can't do enough for you. The food is absolutely gorgeous and plentiful, my two teenage kids aren't the best eaters and the staff went through the weeks menu with me on our first day to organise what they would and wouldn't eat... Stayed with 7 friends booked as part of a First Choice/Crystal Package. Soll itself is quite small and very quiet. The Sonnenhof is a little way out of the town and from the slopes (about 15 mins) but a pleasant walk. Alternatively get the free ski bus from the Hotel Griel about 2 mins walk down from the Sonnenhof. The... More

Nice chalet, clean and tidy, rooms were nice as well quite large for a ski resort. Food was fine, would suggest that if you dont like anything let them know prior to going and they can make you something else. Bar was a bit to small but to be honest after drinking all the free wine it didnt really matter.... More
