Castello is well situated in Solden about a 5 min walk from the main ski gondola. It is possible to store skis at the hotel, but we found it easier to store them at the intersport shop right next to the lifts. That gives you a 20 m walk with your boots on early in the morning. Intersport is a... More

Visited Soelden and stayed at Castello Falkner (CF) in mid Dec for a skiing holiday. This is a great hotel to stay at if you are looking for a fully catered hotel option for your skiing holiday. The family room we had consisted of two bedrooms, one bathroom and a lounge area which was fantastic from a space point of... More

We were in this hotel for the first (and surely for the last time). There is no service at all! No waiters during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Poor English causing stupid misunderstanding. Just from the first breakfast we were not treated properly. We were 4 persons, so after 20 minutes the table was quite full of used plates and coffee... More

We stayed three nights in the end of July. There are alot of good things about the hotel but also a few things that will not make me come back. The rooms are spacious and clean. The Hotel overall is very clean. I would rate the service 1-5. The service in the spa was great, at breakfast we also had... More

We stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of February and we really enjoyed the whole experience. The hotel is not even five minutes walk from the ski lift that brings you up to the slopes (but it is still a very quiet and relaxing location). They offer complimentary and safe storage for the skiing equipment. Furthermore, parking in the... More

Record snow made other ski towns inaccessible, but Solden was open and the Castello had a room free 2nd week of Jan, so slightly off peak. We were really pleased with the hotel, the rooms were huge, and comfortable. The spa is amazing the inside/outside pool is fantastic. Breakfast and Dinner were excellent, and the hotel bar is not ridiculously... More

We visited this hotel with the 3 kids for a skiing trip. The location is simply great: you're a 5 minute walk away from at the main skiing lift, yet located in a quite area. We had a 2-bedroom family suite Rosegg 60 m2, which was perfect to accomodate the family. WiFi is available. Rooms are clean and spacy enough.... More

Travelled to Sölden for a late ski break with family - this small family run hotel is just across the wooden bridge from the skilift to the Middlestation - we had daily lessons so being able to store skis, boots etc up the mountain made sense with small kids. The hotel is new(ish) and has all key amenities for families,... More

Just spent 4 days at The Castello Falkener, rooms were lovely & location for the lifts excellent. Apres ski in Solden is great fun. Great breakfast served from 07.00 so you can be first on the lifts, and spa for relaxing is top quality.

We (my husband and 13 year old son) stayed for a week in Castello Falkner to ski. The location is good. It's a short walk to one of the main gondela's (there are 2 different ones in Solden). The rooms were spacious (rooms 217 and 218), quiet, and each one had a nice balcony. In general service was good. Unfortunately... More
