I arrived at St Anton at a busy time with no accommodation booked and was given the name of Hotel Farhrner by the Tourist Information Bureau. I was not just surprised but delighted by the overall level of service and hospitality I received, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The 5 course degustation dinner was excellent each and every... More

I should start saying that all reviews I read of this hotel are correct. The Fahrner family has a certain pride in making their guests feel at home, the base for a good family hotel. I read in several of the reviews that management is bad, and this wondered me. Andy taking care of the bar, cleaning glasses leaving the... More

Just back from a fantastic week in St. Anton. Our family of 4 stayed in Hotel Fahrner and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The location was perfect. Close to the Galzigbahn and other ski lifts, shops etc. but still far enough from the crowds. Shuttle service back and forth available too. Nice and large enough family room, with a good size bathroom.... More

The Fahrner Family’s pride is everywhere at their hotel. Our room and bathroom were clean, well finished and generously proportioned even for three of us. Daily breakfasts and three-course dinners with dessert, included in the daily rate, were wonderfully prepared by Chef Günter Lindorfer. Salads and vegetables extended the menu beyond the typically meat and potato Germanic style. Hotel Fahrner... More

We've spent in the hotel Fahrner 9 days including Christmas and new year eves. It's a very nice and cosy family run hotel. The hotel is located 10 min walking distance from the center uphill. There is a shuttle service to the lifts. For us the location was perfect thus we were with a baby and were looking for a... More

A well located hotel although a bit off (10 min). the hotel is clean and spacious. It has a good buffet, varied and selective. The only problem is the hotel management. Tends to charge for things that have served and are a bit slacker. No WIFI service.

Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry, but we can't comprehend your statement about our WIFI service, in fact that we provide free (no charge) internet service via WIFI or Ethernet cable since more than 10 years. Family Fahrner More

A group of friends have spent a good week of ski in January 2012 in St Anton. We liked all the different stations visited and I am sure we will come back. Where no return is the Fahrner hotel. We found that cleaning and food were good but we had a very unpleasant discussion with the owner because he pretended... More

We deeply regret the troubles where caused during your stay in our hotel. It it also for us very unusual that booked services get gainsaid and it was a pleasure for us to invite you for these. The feedback from the head of the group was positive and we would be very pleased to welcome you again in our hotel... More

Our ski club stayed at the Hotel Fahrner and what a treat it was! Proprietors Andy and Jina Fahrner and their children make it a very special vacation. Son Chris is particularly talented as he does a variety of jobs, i.e. checking in, pairing wines with the meal and driving visitors down into town as the taxi driver. As for... More

Perfect hotel located in “upper” village with an amazing view and excellent service. Cosy, clean, rooms with balcony (great view) bath/shower, telephone and TV/DVD. Parking in front of the hotel, shuttle, 5- min. walk to centre. Superb breakfast buffet. Fantastic à la carte-restaurant with excellent food, a warm atmosphere and wine cellar. –Perfect place to stay!

Hotel Fahrneren After running the car down so we were a bit lost why we called the hotel and asked for directions, we got a very arrogant reply from the owner, who in turn, apologized for what happened when we finally found the Hotel, but we stepped in with a negative feeling. The food was beneath contempt and a food... More
