We stayed at this hotel for skiing over the Easter holidays. It is a fabulous hotel with friendly staff and an excellent restaurant serving great adult and children's food. The swimming pool and sauna area were excellent for adults and children alike.

we went in Sept 2010 just for a night and took advantage of the cheaper off peak rate, which fitted our budget, more than the peak season. If you are looking to truly experience Austria and its hospitality, the Sonnhof at St. Johann in Pongau is the place to go. I have just returned from a trip to Austria with my 3 year old son and we enjoyed a few days at this family-run hotel close to Salzburg. A great location with wonderful views of the mountain...
