We stayed at the Pinzgauerhof from 31st March for our annual skiing trip. Everything about this hotel was very good. Food was plentiful and well presented. Tea and coffee available all day. Staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the resort. The hotel's location was excellant, surrounded by lifts to take you on to the slopes and different areas, therefore no... More

This hotel definately turned out better than we expected. The rooms are of a decent size and although the traditional Austrian furniture is looking a bit tired this will not affect your stay. Food and staff are exceptional. Location to the nearest ski hire shop and lift must be all 30 seconds away which is a bonus. All in all... More

Transfer was comfortable and swift. Ingams reresentative gave good adddress and was informative, organised and helpful. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean although decor and furnishings are getting tired. Likewise dining room and bar although perfectly fine a makeover would give it a lift. Breakfast was plentiful, teatime cakes were scrummy and evening meal excellent. Included wine was french, plentiful and... More

This is listed as a 3.5 star chalet hotel, and was better than expected. The location is great, right next to the Reiterkogelbahn gondola and 3 minutes walk from the village centre. A few lively bars, but their music was switched off by the time we went to bed so that wasn't a problem. However, the week we were there... More

Our group consisted of 18 mainly seniors who know how to enjoy themselves without offending others. Unfortunately there was another large group of 40 to 60 somethings who managed to make a nuisance of themselves on the transfer coach, by binge-drinking, using foul language and being generally noisy. Some of them continued this behaviour in the Chalet hotel, even giving... More

Like the last 3 reviewers, it’s time to set the record straight. This was my 3rd consecutive stay in an Inghams chalet hotel and this one was every bit as good and as friendly as the others. Transfer from Salzburg was indeed horrendous – after sitting in the airport coach-park for at least half an hour going nowhere and a... More

After reading some of the other reviews about this hotel we were a little worried, but then I do tend to take most TripAdvisor reviews with a pinch of salt! The hotel was lovely, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the location couldn't have been better and the food/wine was excellent. I can't understand some of the other reviews... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the Pinzgauerhof chalet hotel. The description is just right - casual enough to be a chalet but with the added benefits of hotel services. We stayed in rooms 401 and 402 on the top floor, which was a great arrangement for us as a family of 4. There were only the two rooms up there and it... More

We have just returned from a weeks skiing staying at the Hotel Pinzgauer Hof - Hinterglemm. We arrived in Hinterglemm late evening after a hideous transfer from Salzburg airport (due to Inghams dropping off at Zell first), we were greeted by the staff of the hotel and taken to our room. The room was very clean and the balcony looked... More

I stayed in this hotel 8 years ago and it has not be touched since. Whilst rooms are spacious the general decor is tired and facilities are basic. For me the idea of a "Chalet" Hotel doesn't work. A chalet is a flexible arrangement but a hotel is very constricted by limited staff and kitchen space to allow flexibility. The... More
