We have been a happy guest of Hotel Post, as a family of five, since 2019. The hotel and location are amazing. The entire team and owners are very special people who make your stay unforgettable. Quality, service, cleanliness, infrastructure, all top. Skiing in the area is also good, within ca. 30-40mins drive reaching places, which are hidden gems like Turracher Höhe. And when returning to the hotel after skiing, next to the lake, you feel spring has already come. Surely also a place worth visiting in the summer, something we look forward to doing as well in the future.

What a fabulous family friendly hotel in the most stunning location looking out towards the lake. We had a wonderful week skiing from this hotel. It was such a pleasure to come back each day to afternoon tea, in the garden enjoying the views while the kids played on the fun sledging slope. Our 5 course dinner every night was just delicious. The children always enjoyed their meals. It was the most relaxing hotel, and we loved the pool and spa enjoying the views. The plunge pool water fall was really special. We highly recommend the 5 km sledge trip with the manager at the end of the week. We were taken up by tractor taxi and then had the most magical experience wizzing down-what fun! Thank you. We had access from here to such a great range of runs-on all levels. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly-Thank you,

Restaurant with high prices and unfriendly payment policy. Probably the only place where they charge you extra for paying with card??? Expensive food of average quality. Smaller portions than elswhere. I really would not recommend. Much more nicer places close to the ski slopes.

Room was large with a balcony overlooking the lake. Set up for family occupancy but we stopped one night out of season. Food & service at both dinner & breakfast was excellent. Town is very nice & the lake & hills provide a beautiful backdrop.

Stayed in may with my husband and we don't have children. But because it's low season it's fine to stay in a family hotel. For family's it's a great hotel with lots of nice staff who are very kind to children. Rooms are very clean and fresh. Breakfast is superb and loved it that there were lots of healthy choices at the buffet. There is a juicer so you can make your own fresh juice witch fruit and carrots. I really missed a refrigerator and a water kettle in the room. I know that there are many hotels in Austria who don't provided it . Really miss it that you can't make your own coffee or tea. Or no chance to put a cold drink in your room. Really a small thing but it makes your stay nicer. The location is wonderful near the lake and easy to park your car near the hotel. Really nice staff and wanted to recommend this hotel to everyone.

We visited as a large family group 6 adults and 6 little ones ages ranging from 9 years down to 1 year. We arrived just after New Year January 2019. We all had such a wonderful time. Everything was perfect for us. The location, the bedrooms, the beautiful fresh food, the well organised childrens' club, hotel pool and the adult spa. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Excellent team extending warm and genuine Austrian hospitality. Will definitely return for another stay and can strongly recommend to other families.

We spent 4 days at Hotel Post in Millstatt with our 4 week old baby and really enjoyed our stay. All staff members were very friendly and helpful with our little one. The best place was the lake side beach at the Postillion and the brand new facilities there. Will definitely come back soon

We enjoyed 6 nights at this amazing family hotel. We brought out 3 kids ages 11,5,3. They all greatly enjoyed Familienhotel Post. The activities and kids club were such a blast for them. It was the first time we've ever had our kids beg us to eat alone so they could eat with the kids club! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The food was incredible! You have 2 choices for each appetizer, soup, entrée, and desert along with a full salad bar. Breakfast and lunch were also great for the all-inclusive plan. We did go skiing a few times on out trip, but I must say that the highlight of our entire trip was the sledding adventure we did with the hotel. A bus took us up to the top and we sledded down 4.5 km. It was such a wonderful experience for everyone in the family! We hope to come back again next winter

What a lovely break! The hotel is in a perfect setting with mountains, lake and forest to enjoy. The atmosphere here is definitely one of its major appeals as the staff are clearly valued and work as a team to make you feel welcome whilst also respecting your privacy. Peter and Inna ate fully involved in the daily hotel activities and its history as a family run hotel means it's a particularly warm and friendly place to stay. The amount of things to do each day is impressive and our holiday was an ideal mix of relaxation and activity. The childcare is unusually flexible and the mutual trust shown is a rare thing to be treasured. We will definitely be returning and can strongly recommend to other families!
