Custer is a nice place to hang out, the the Crazy Horse Monument and Mount Rushmore are nearby. The hotel is what you would expect from a Best Western and indeed want. Fair price clean room and ample breakfast.

This place was a real disappointment. A lot of money for dirty, old, and run down. Cigarette butts on the sidewalks everywhere. Disgusting! Best Western Hotels needs to really monitor their hotels

We stayed one night at this traditonal style motel on a recent vacation. Custer is a pleasant town in a great location for seeing Mount Rushmore and the rest of the Black Hills. The motel was fine. The room was clean. The staff were exceptionally competent and helpful. The restaurant the night clerk suggested was very good.

This BW needs a serious upgrade. Rooms need a thorough cleaning, new carpet, drapes and bedding. Bathroom smelled musty and towels need to be replaced.
