Spent three nights at this B&B, and really enjoyed the historic building, room, breakfast, and of course the great hospitality!

Bob and Pat were wonderful hosts. Their sound advice about the area made it a very rich and enjoyable experience. Bob can really put together a great breakfast!

When we arrived, we discovered that there was confusion over our reservation. We thought it was confirmed but apparently it was not. The man who was there was very rude about it and neither person there indicated if they were booked or if they had availability. I have never encountered such rudeness from someone in the hospitality field before.

We've stayed here before & it's a lovely old house, located right in the heart of Custer, SD. My only complaint is that upon arrival we were greeted by two dogs barking very loudly, followed by the innkeeper yelling at the dogs & at her spouse for help. Custer Mansion really is a mansion close to downtown Custer. The location is terrific. The inside is OK, maybe a bit too homey.
