clean room, older hotel. Don't expect a fancy place. had a mini fridge and microwave in room. comfortable bed.
We stayed five nights. It was not crowded, the season was coming to a close. The non-smoking room was really nice, with a fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The A/C worked great. We had good parking. There is a good restaurant at the other side of the parking lot. It was a steal. Wish...

It was clean, good sized room with the queen beds. The free breakfast was just toast, coffee and muffins but that's okay because the rate was a good price. The lady manager was very nice. Stayed three nights and enjoyed them all. Their restaurant next door serves a delicious steak at a cheap price. Would stay here again.
We book a 7 night stay and upon checking in the rate was more than given over the phone. The room was very small and dark. There was no where to sit any items such as toothpaste in the very small bathroom and the bathroom did nto have a exhaust fan. After showering I opened the window to clear the...

We stayed 4 nights at the Dakota Cowboy. We had excellent service. The room was impecably cleaned each day. The staff was very helpful and responsive. They apologized for the remodeling at the lobby but that was not a problem at all. The breakfast was adequate for our needs. It really is Americas Best Value. We would stay there again...

For the price, this was a great place to stay. They have two buildings - we stayed in the Dakota Inn rather than the Americas Best Value section. It was clean and met all our needs with good Internet service, refrigerator & microwave (we had requested this at booking), comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was minimal (juice, coffee, milk, cereal,...

My family and I went on a weekend trip to see Mt. Rushmore. The motel was very clean and maintained throughout, the staff was very friendly. Mt. Rushmore was about 20 minutes or so away and Crazy Horse just 5 minutes. Th motel was centrally located and we were able to walk everywhere.
We stayed here for 2 nights in the first week of September. Rates around the black hills were still pretty high except for a couple of hotels that sounded reasonable. But being the first trip to the Black Hills and first stay in a budget hotel, I was skeptic at first while booking. But we were pleased with everything from...

We stayed two nights and really liked the motel. Manager is very friendly, and I was charged correctly for two adults/one child. My guess is Mr 'bait and switch' was hoping to get away with not paying the extra FOUR DOLLORS a night per child, or did not read that the extra person charge was not yet added onto what...

This motel had a very friendly atmosphere. My kids enjoyed the playing in the pool every day, but as a side note we didn't know where the pool towels were until the 3rd day of our stay (when I finally asked). The breakfast was pretty much standard for a continental with an added treat of real butter! I have a...
